Metal Dome Area

At and around treeline (14-1600m in this area), there's a buried layer -- likely from the warm tail end of Wednesdays storm -- about 20cm deep. Widespread wind affect with pockets of slab on the lee side of small terrain features. Wind slabs could be pulled off in obvious areas, shearing cleanly on the buried layer in hand pits, but no natural or skier triggered activity observed anywhere and the buried density change was no longer present at higher elevations.
