Top of TL and low alpine is heavily wind affected with obvious wind slabs. Top layer of about 5 cm of wind slab is cracking easily as you travel over it in some places. You still can find some powder if you look for it, but wind affected islands are all over the place. There is a maze of skin tracks going up, so checking map frequently is a theme of the day if you do not know exactly which track goes where. Snow pit on North aspect at 1725 m produced results: Ski pen 0 cm Boot pen 5 cm HS 185 CTE 10 (SP) 5 cm down CTM 16 (RP) 20 cm down
