Birthday Chute

Party of 2, rode birthday chute this afternoon during the storm. 28cm in last 48h and Mod winds from S to SW. We were concerned about windslab on top of crust. We ski cut the top and found the first 3 turns were shallow powder on hard crust, getting deeper every turn. Overall no signs of slab, but definetely some sluffing. Skied the whole couloir and found deep powder and faceshots all the way down, didn't feel the crust below.
