We traveled through a variety of aspects and elevations bands today, but the general idea was: Moderate winds from the WNW, with gusts up to 45-50mph. A lot of snow transport witnessed. We expereinced both upslope and downslope winds in a variety of areas. Strong solar effect, although ambient air temperature remained cold in the alpine, due to increased wind. Wind slabs are starting to develop on ATL terrain, and while they are only a couple of inches, they are range of Fist-hard to Pencil-hard slabs. While I though this would be a more
