Less than an inch of new snow. Light winds at ridgetop with no evidence of snow transport.

Snowpack

Most snow surfaces were hard from either last night's strong northerly winds or previous strong winds or melt-freeze crusts. No loose dry avalanches observed. Some minor cracking observed under skis especially on southeast-facing near treeline but overall no signs of instability with recently drifted snow. Quick ob from east-facing below treeline showed a shallow snowpack (less than 100 cm) with a faceting slab and very weak upper snowpack. Southerlies below treeline had supportable crusts that were almost, but not quite, corning up.
