Weather

At 1400, the sky was FEW and increased to SCT by 1500. Calm wind BTL and light NTL, looked to be moderate on ridge tops. Decreasing temps.

Snowpack

Around 2" of very low density snow from this morning on top of still relatively unconsolidated snow from the last storm. BTL and NTL S-SE had a sun crust below the unconsolidated snow, much softer F hard slab on a BTL E aspect. Observed moderate snow transport from westerly wind on ridge top. I think the wind has been relatively low in the last 24 hours as there was still quite a bit of snow on what is normally totally wind scoured ATL westerly slopes on the other side of the pass.
