Weather

Winds were gusting to over 30mph creating visibility issues. North/West facing aspect around 10,000 ft. Indian Peak/Klondike Mountain.

Snowpack

Wind loaded slab on the North/West facing aspect around 10,000 ft. had roughly 4" of hard pack on top of soft, fresh snow. Cracks propagated a few feet at a time. The wind was increasing as I left. South/East facing aspects along the ridge were bare, with little to no snow-pack.
