Avalanche
15 passenger Van sized cornice, accidentally triggered from above as a rider stuck their snowboard in the snow at the summit flags. Cornice fall triggered a slide to the ground. Cornice was 3-4 meters wide. Slide was 10-15 wide wall to wall. Avy was 80 cm deep, exposed rocks and grass. SE, 12,400. A backpack went over edge when the cornice broke. We found it in the debris pile all the way at the bottom.
