Weather

generally calm winds and overcast skies with sporadic, light precip throughout afternoon. temps hovered in the mid 20s throughout the day.

Snowpack

the snowpack here is both thin and reactive. hasty pits throughout day demonstrated activity while isolatiing or with minimal shear effort @ 30-40 cm down. dug pit on 30° ENE aspect @ 9900 fet BTL. HS 90 cm. two CTs, one CTM (15) and one CTM (18) - both SP @ 45 cm down. one ECTP (19) @ 45 cm down. numerous whoomphs on NE-E-SE aspects throughout day. no cracking observed.
