Good skiing in the Sub Observation zone. ~20cm from Sat-Sun unconsolidated below 2400m on the south aspect. The trees skied great. South ridge up to Sub Ob was pretty wind hammered and made for firm skinning. The last 150m or so of climbing to the peak is void of snow. We skied the south bowl from 2840m. The top was firm from winds blowing up the slope, but better further in. No signs of instability through the day. Pit dug at 2400m at the top of TL showed both crusts faceting. Tests had moderate column results in storm snow, broken, and hard column results on top crust, also broken.
