Weather

Truely bluebird, though a few wispy clouds way to the north. Down right Balmy temps & very little wind. Felt like April

Snowpack

Been a while since any accumulated snow. Some snow fields had dark dust layer on the surface, and generally lots of wind chap everywhere we looked. Everything was well frozen in the AM. By ski time (~12:30) we found a variety of corn snow on ESE to S aspects. East south east was becoming more ‘reverse corn’, ie: starting to freeze back up, and more southerly aspects were very nice cream corn. As the terrain shifted from ESE toward south aspects, the snowpack produced some large wet ‘cinnamon rolls’ on each turn. Closing in on some Wet Loose potential.
