Two-foot crown. Triggered by skier. No one buried, no injuries. Slide zone covered popular skin track to saddle and Hocus Peak. Many tracks traversed the zone from previous skiers. Same significant weak layer was also seen on west face of Baldy, east of Breckenridge on 03/17. I have skied this area of Butler for 25+ years and have never seen evidence of any slide until today. The weak layer is real, pervasive along the Front Range and Vail/Summit. Please increase the rating as a warning. I have pictures but cannot get them to upload...
