Weather

Break between the two storms. Overcast to Broken skies. Light to Moderate west winds. None to light precipitation.

Snowpack

Only observed near and below treeline. Obs don't apply to alpine. Weak layers present. Slab generally not. The exception is in light loading building very soft slabs up to 20cm in areas directly below ridgelines. I observed minor cracking underfoot in drifted locations. Otherwise not enough new snow yet to make a significant change in the avalanche conditions.
