Weather

Mild temperatures, scattered high thin clouds, moderate westerly winds and light blowing snow observed above TL.

Snowpack

Heard 2 loud rumbling collapses on NW aspect near TL while breaking trail. Generally supportive snowpack. Dry snow observed above TL on north-facing and east-facing slopes. Moist snow with faint crusts observed near and below TL on north-facing slopes.

Avalanche

Observed 3 recent slab avalanches on NW aspects near TL on West Sheridan. 1 was D2 in size with a crown midway down the avalanche path. Crown height looked to be ~3' from across the valley.
