clear, cold, calm n ridge of mt justice up to 11,530

Snowpack

new surface facets overnight - up to 1 cm boot pen to knee, ski pen to boot top really thin faceted snowpack below 10,000 supportive mid layer higher pit at 10,825 on N shoulder HS 140 cm on justice showed thick supportive mid pack, but variability in loose to finger stiff basal facts in lower 10 cm. 1 CT was failure on isolation on loose facets, ECT did NOT fail on stiffer firmer basal facets 1 m over. 3 seperate faceting ice crust layers from 40-10 cm were not reactive in tests

a few loose point releases in several steep areas, funnelling into gullies on S and SW exposures after noon in distance on Mt daly and similar exposures.
