Weather

Blustery cold day. Cloud cover began to decrease with patches of blue after noon.

Snowpack

Very weak overall. Boot pen to ground anywhere that was not wind loaded.

Avalanche

Really didn't get enough of a view around to observe loaded features. The loading was too intense to see the slopes on the east side of the divide. Right at the Pass itself, in a break in the drifting, I could see two fresh D1.5 avalanches.
