Weather

13" new snow with 1.15" of water equivalent. Snowfall ended before noon with little additional accumulation. Skies became partly cloudy and temps warmed. 36" October snowfall from both measured and estimated amounts.

Snowpack

No signs of any instability on N-E aspects near treeline. The sun came out and temperatures were warm enough to create a surface melt freeze crust on sunny aspects.

Avalanche

No observed significant natural avalanche activity. Warm temps during sunny periods today caused some harmless dry loose snow activity on sunny, low elevation locations.
