FEW to SCT sky cover, temps near or above freezing. Tolerable southwest winds with occasional stronger gusts.
Snowpack
No signs of instability observed during our tour. The snow surface was moist to wet on east to northeast aspects near and below treeline, but remained dry as you wrapped around to more northerly aspects, making for occasionally gloppy skinning. The snow surface remained cold and dry above treeline on all aspects that we traveled on.
Avalanche
Roller balls and a few very small wet loose sloughs were noted on a steep rocky slope with an east aspect below treeline.
