Weather

Winds began to increase as I left around 1130. Intense filtered sunshine and increasing temperatures. Trace of new snow fell overnight.

Snowpack

Snowpack on Northerly facing slopes is still transitioning. Long column test produced moderate propagating results down 45 cm on large grained, rounding depth hoar. I would suspect this score would go down later in the day as the surface crust softens and the heat and melt water impact the 1F slab. East slopes are fully moist and/or wet with a weak surface crust that was already starting to soften by 1030. ECTP2 down 40 cms on fist hard wet grains. The only "slab" communicating the fracture was the surface crust. Localized collapse on a South facing micro feature on egress at 1045.
