General conditions on the day was beauty blower pow around knee deep. Along ridge tops we noticed appreciable wind and some small naturally occurring wind slab activity. Decided to ski cut a short, steeper pitch being used to access a more mellow line and produced expected results. After assessing minimal hang fire, remainder of party skied the bed to access main ski line.
