Calm, sunny warm day with temperatures well above freezing.

Snowpack

The top 90cm of snow is well bonded right-side up snowpack on 40cm of rounding facets. 20cm of pencil snow and a thin crust make the facets hard to affect below treeline. No test results on the facets with multiple tests. The snow surface was moist and heavy by the end of the day on all but the most protected slopes below treeline. Some previous avalanche activity was seen in the area prior to the last storm on February 21, 2021
