Intermittent light N breeze at treeline didn't do much to keep temps down. Didn't witness any transport off high peaks. Anything that wasn't steep and shady N facing was either crusted or glopified by mid-afternoon.
Snowpack
Dug on a W aspect at 11,800 to see how much new snow there was and to assess bonding. Found 75cms of F to 4F above a collection of crusts, with a perceptible interface at 45cms down likely separating the first and second rounds of precip from this cycle. ECTP16 Q2 at this interface 45cms down. CT12, clean, at the same depth. Observed one collapse on a loaded ridgeline, no shooting cracks.
Avalanche
Numerous small D1's on W --> N --> E aspects, many look to have ran during the last piece of the storm on 3/25 or 3/26. Saw a fresh larger slide that entrained a lot of snow and ran far downslope on an E aspect in sparse trees at 11,700 below a ridgeline. Picture attached.
