Weather

Warm, mostly sunny with some high thin clouds, and just a gentle westerly breeze at ridgetop near 12,000 ft. Calm everywhere else.

Snowpack

Transition to spring is well underway with runnels from melt water apparent on near and below treeline south and west-facing slopes. Still some dry soft snow above 11,000 feet on north-facing terrain. Crusts on other aspects broken down and the top 10cm of snow was moist to wet by 1pm. No signs of instability, and no wet activity other than very small (D 0.5) Loose Wet sluffs out of the rocks. Little concern for wet activity as long we continue to get solid overnight freezes with no rain.
