Weather

8 new. SW winds overnight left some dense windslabs on N-NE aspects above treeline.

Snowpack

Firm underneath at treeline skiing east, became a little bottomless as we skied more north below treeline. Above treeline was slabby. Snow stayed cold where we were but was wet on south aspects.

Avalanche

Saw two naturals. Both were in locations that don’t hold much snow but significant S-SW winds overnight created a good load. Smaller avalanches, both hardslabs as far as we could tell and broke below the ridgeline.
