Weather
Sunny, windy, and mild temperatures for the crack of noon club.
Snowpack
Though southwest winds continue in the mid to upper teens, no moving snow visible. This is likely due to the damage the wind did over the past 48 hours. Southwest winds have stripped, stiffened, and drifted snow. Drifted pockets of snow were found to be very firm and did not crack easily under the pressure of our skis. Cornices continue to grow in size and stiffness. In general the alpine has once again been wrecked by the wind, but dry light snow persists on shady northerly slopes - especially below treeline.
Avalanche
A few avalanches observed on SE facing slopes that ran during one of the recent strong wind events.
