Weather
Mostly sunny with increasing clouds by late afternoon. Daytime temperatures approached and may have exceeded freezing in insolated areas.
Snowpack
Recent warm days and sunshine have produced a moderately hard surface crust in many areas, even some that one would otherwise expect to be shady and protected. Today is expected to again be sunny and near-freezing ahead of the incoming storm. With several inches of snow potentially coming, heightened storm slab activity on these aspects could be possible.
Avalanche
Widespread sluffing observed in "10 Little indians" area and in No Name Cirque.
