Observed very large old avalanche in back side of Hasler, estimated slide cleared ~4 hectares of forest. Suspect slide ran on mid-Feb facets, possibly cornice triggered. Runout and tree damage was past any observable historical avalanche indicators. Slide was estimated 400 meters wide and ran 800-900 meters, pushing across the North Burnt river and 30 meters up the far slope. Several other smaller slides were also observed in the same valley which also pushed to historical runout lengths.
