Dug a pit at 1700 on a S slope. Dug roughly 100cm down. 4 finger snow most of the way down, moving to 1 finger snow near 85-90cm down. No obvious layers visible, and no obvious layers felt when moving down the snowpack. 1st CT had a failure 40 down at 19. SC, and resistant 2nd CT had a failure 40 down at 9. SC and resistant The snowpack felt super stable and saw no signs of the above results all day. Of note, 100cm down there is a significant crust. We pulled the whole column with our shovel and it slid of this crust. Pretty thin crust on the snowpack, but there a 5-10 cm layer of thick hard snow above that crust. Make with this information what you want. Or maybe post another MIN explaining what I saw :D
