We came back for an overnight camping trip in Kokanee Bowl and dug a pit just below the col from Montana Bowl towards Kokanee Ridge. We noticed a small wind slab forming near the top before digging. Our snow profile revealed a rain/sun crust down 50-60cm and SF down 90-100cm down. Our test revealed CTH23 down 60cm, SP. We continued further up the ridge and dropped in the first entrance into Montana on the mellow slope. Boot high powder all the way to the flats. Snow started to get heavy at treeline and below into Montana Trees.
