Weather

Close to bluebird. Some haze off to the east towards Pikes Peak. In Fourmile Creek drainage winds were S to SE. At the ridge they were NW. Moving some snow, but most sublimating. On Mt Sherman next door, sometimes the plumes were moving north, and sometimes east, and sometimes south.

Snowpack

A pretty substantial MF crust everywhere I traveled. In sheltered gully features there was some 1 to 3" of soft snow. Most areas were polished wind board though.

Avalanche

Saw one possible Wind Slab that may have run during the last storm cycle. Wind in this range quickly erodes any tell tale sign of how old something is. Also saw one very old crown from at least a month ago I'd estimate. A winter type Persistent Slab.
