Few clouds. Breezy at times but no sustained wind. Previous blowing snow. Warm in sun.
Snowpack
NE facing BTL: HS 75-85 cm. Near surface snow NSF or decomposing fragments. F hard. Moist in sun. 1F - midpack slab over 10-20 cm basal facets. No cracking Or collapsing. Slab seems to be faceting but still supportable. NTL E facing wind dappled or crusted. Moist and refreezing as temps dropped. No whumpfing. ATL: lots of bare ground w harddrifts and slabs in protected areas. Few, if any, could produce slides bigger than D2-2.5.
