Lots of wind affected snow near the trail head in the valley bottom. One group headed for an ENE aspect and found collapsing in wind loaded areas. Pit results on a 28 degree slope were ECTV on DH and CTM Q1 SP on the interface with last weeks HST. The other group headed for a 28 degree SW aspect. We observed rolling collapses and shooting cracks traveling on this aspect. We dug in a wind loaded feature with an HS of 80cm. We had multiple CT11 SP results on crusts of both the mid january and HST from last week, interfaces. We also had one ECT21 SP on the HST interface from last week.
