Weather

Partly cloudy skies in early AM; broken to obscured by late morning. Graupel showers late morning. Winds increased during the day; most intense late morning but perhaps that was just the effects of the terrain we were on at that time. Rain showers mid afternoon in vally.

Snowpack

Isothermal, or near it, below treeline. Layered, moist snowpack with potential failure planes near treeline. Variable snow cover above treeline.
