Butler Gulch, N, 11,700 ft Overcast with moderate snowfall. Very little wind and/or transport.

Snowpack

Butler Gulch, N aspect, 11,700 ft, 28 degree slope angle 60cm snow depth. Firm crust from the ground to 12cm, large facets from 12cm to 20cm. 20cm to 60 cm was rightside-up, ranging from 4F at 20cm to Fist at 60cm. Compression Test: CTE (3 taps) with SP fracture. Broke at 12cm, between crust and facets.
