Weather
Very solid overnight freeze, but a dusting of new snow (this was deeper in the wind deposited areas. Maybe 1 inch new with wind deposits of up to 3 in deepest spots)
Snowpack
Very solid overnight freeze led to large, stable isothermal layer. However, this very small amount of new snow (~1 inch, and up to 3 inches where wind loaded) had become slabby, and was poorly bonded to the isothermal layer
Avalanche
Skier triggered storm/wind slab broke near top of chute. 3 inch crown, width of 12 feet. Broke at feet of skier, very soft, did not knock skier down. Ran 3/4 of chute. Unfortunately did not have time to take photo
