Snowpack

Skied at Berthoud on Sunday May 29. Cold and windy to start, but solar warming affected the snow quickly. Barely froze saturday night. Skied off Mt. Russell to Current Bench, then Alpha chutes.... saw numerous signs of cornice collapse (huge debris between Russell & No Name) as well as many point release, wet slide activity near rock outcrops lower down. Snow surface became saturated and punchy by 9:45am
