Weather

Warm with lots of sun. The trees were unloading snow and lots of water was falling from the trees.

Snowpack

Sun affected areas: Top three inch of snow was sliding every easily. Movement was human triggered and was 3 or 4 feet wide. Shaded snow: Ski cuts were about 8” deep and the snow moved in large balls. The snow was wet and sticky. We skied on the east side of the chute because the chute was full of small slides form a pervious group. We did see a fracture that ran three quarters of the width of the chute. This looked like large deep movement in the snow pack.
