Weather

Warmer morning than Sunday. Short plumes off high ridges in AM; snow clearly getting moved by NW winds, but limited to uppermost ridges. Winds mixed down below treeline but with minimal snow transport mid afternoon. Clouds overhead about 2 pm, with flat light, though lower Crystal Valley not overcast by nightfall.

Snowpack

As reported yesterday: 10-15 cm PP from Friday over 5 cm DF, with planar shear at lower IF with mod force in hand shears. No fresh Wind Slabs where we were, though tracks from Sunday in Raspberry Bowl looked drifted in. Snow surface on slopes tipped out of sun still cold and dry. some SH to 4 mm in meadows.

Avalanche

Since Sunday afternoon, more longer running loose slides on W and SW slopes below rock bands. Up to D1.5 in size.
