Weather
Clear and sunny giving way to increasing clouds and passing snow squalls with breaks of sun between. No significant accumulation.
Snowpack
Observed several ski lines >35 deg on south->east aspects nr and abv treeline w/ no signs of instability. No cracking, whumpfing or new avalanches. Profile (see image) on an E-facing knoll near treeline revealed a strong and supportive midpack which protects a thin layer of rounding depth hoar near the ground. No snow above treeline on west facing slopes. Some large cornices are hanging precariously over E-facing slopes with little or no apparent snow anchoring them to the ridge line.
Avalanche
No new avalanches.
