Weather

Wx: 5 degrees at TH at 5:30 AM. Snowing lightly with light/no winds down low. Winds picked up ATL and were gusting up to 30 mph and visibly transporting snow.

Snowpack

Sx: ~ 3" of new snow ATL. It appeared to be wind affected on open, mellow slopes, but not to the point of forming sastrugi. Snow felt bottomless up high, but below 10,000 you could feel a crust under the new snow.

Avalanche

Ax: Some folks kicked a cornice at the top of the bowl that sloughed a ways down. Couldn't really see much else. No instabilities / wumpfing / cracking observed on tour.
