Refer to CAIC... NE 11500ft Large layer of surface hoar forming, with very large hoar crystals. Top 20cm faceted

Avalanche

Aftermath of new avalanche observed wrapping from King Tut's to Third Bowl in East Vail area. Elevation/aspect almost identical to the Old Man's event 2 weeks prior. No ski tracks to indicate skier/rider trigger, but wind loading erases tracks quickly in this zone.
