Beautiful spring day with light winds and ample sunshine.
Snowpack
Pockets of drifted snow ranged from 6 inches to 3+ feet. A layer of dust can be found at the bottom of the new snow that arrived ahead of the recent storm. The new snow is showing signs of good bonding to existing bed surface. There is a slight density change in the new snow that fell Tuesday night vs. Wednesday. (Top 6 inches 4 finger over 16 inches of fist) Though very little slab quality was observed in the new snow this slight density change will be something to keep an eye on if we get a new load. Snow at lower elevation and in areas that get lots of sunshine settled in a hurry today and expect to find a sought crust on many slopes in the AM.

Multiple small point releases observed on E and S facing slopes out of very steep rocky terrain.
