Sunny and a bit breezy
Snowpack
Descended mostly pencil density hard slab on the NE face. Most of the snow surface below treeline was recycled powder. On the hike over to Sniktau we observed a very pregnant looking wind slab on a SE aspect just below the ridgeline that runs between Loveland pass and Snikatau's summit. We agreed that it looked sketchy enough to not ski and if it did run would potentially be large enough to kill a person.
Avalanche
No avalanches were observed on this trip and no obvious signs of instability were noted besides the obvious windslab we avoided that is described in the snowpack portion of this report.
