Weather

freeze overnight, but light drizzle/ dusting of snow overnight.

Snowpack

at geisler parking: top 15" snowpack (both may white snow, and older dirt snow) froze well, but basal 12" snow was loose wet grains. at 13,500' south, east slopes wer thawed by 10 AM, new white snow skiied like a thawed breakable crust over 3-9" of wet gunk, red dirt snow much more solid. N, W slopes only initalliy thawed at 10:30
