high clouds streaming in throughout the day along with moderate winds gusting to strong above TL; temps above freezing for most of the morning/early afternoon,though temps seemed to drop substantially around 3ish

Explored the area around the Opus Hut/Ohir Pass this weekend. Took a dip into the Paradise Trees (N/NW) this afternoon. No Sx of instabilities observed during approached. Dug several test pits near TL at ingress to the fingers---HS 195cm; Slope angle: 42; Elevation: 11,900; notable density breaks within teh pack at 75cm, 60 cm and again at 20cm (>3mm depth hoar)...ECTVQ2 @ ground; CTEQ2 @ ground; CTMQ2@ground.
