Snowpack

First lap we skied an area that had previously avalanched and refilled to about 75cm HS. Snowpack tests below the old crown were ECTX and a CT break but no fracture. The mid pack in this area was 4F. Boot pin to the ground and ski pin was about need deep. Great creamy skiing. In areas that haven't had previous avalanching, the mid pack is slightly more cohesive but boot pin is still close to ground. Surface hoar was all over the place on the North Side of Snoggrass, from mid track to the road.
