Weather

Scattered clouds in AM. Stratus approaching from NW early afternoon; quickly lowering w snow starting quickly. S1 showers that didn't last more than 1-2 hours. Winds NW, generally light but picked up as stratus approached, then died. Cold, but not as cold as Wednesday.

Snowpack

Generally deep and consolidated. Probing on climbers left side of Marble bowl showed HS 3+m. Pole tests showed storm snow generally harder with depth; no obvious soft layers when probing..

Avalanche

Reports of natural slides in Mill Site, and below Alley Peak, one possibly recent, but either didn't have the visibility or perspective to confirm.
