Towards the end of today, the mid valley winds picked up and noticed trees swaying BTL. The Haydens were getting pounded by the wind. Storm total- Ranging from 6-8in Winds- Moderate to Strong SW Blowing Snow- Plenty of snow for transport, wind slab growth Temps- Warm without wind chill Sky- Broken to Scatted depending on location

Snowpack

The Triple Problem is still with us and could be lingering with the approaching storm. Depending on terrain, you will encounter Wind Slab, Storm Slab and Persistent Slab. Explored into some larger terrain with technically skiing and variable conditions. Seeing small winds slabs ranging from 5-15cm to Storm Slab avalanches ranging in the D1, R1 scale. The persistent slab still seems unluckily to trigger under light loads and with proper terrain choices. Ashcroft BTL skiing is showing much more structure with little activity.
