Weather

15F in at 830 am at TH, but quickly warmed up to well above freezing. Calm winds near TL and scattered skies.

Snowpack

Large surface hoar event in valley bottoms but SH is evident up to 11K. Hst has settled to ~30 cm and is beginning to facet from top down--skiing has loud noisy feel of recycled powder. Skied >40 degrees NW aspect near TL with no signs of instability and only minor sluffing. Did observe several older small point releases from very steep terrain or below cliff bands. I heard 2nd accounts of small triggered soft slabs from Sunday on N-E aspects BTL.
