There had been about 20 cm of new snow prior to our arrival on April 8. Skiing was good on all aspects but not deep powder. We were skiing in the top 20 cm of new snow. Day was cloudy to mostly cloudy with mild temperatures. We skied on W, NW and SE aspects. Based on local ski maps, we skied runs named Yum! Yum!, Gandalf the White, and Social Studies.

ECTN10. The only snowpack layer we could easily perceive was a rain crust at about 20 cm, which was the location of the fracture. The snowpack seemed well consolidated. There was about 20 cm of new snow below which was very firm. Good skiing but not deep powder.
